  • No, you can also order as a GUEST and do not need to create a permanent account.
  • You can also subscribe to the Newsletter without creating a permanent account.
  • With a customer account, you can view the order status of your current order or search your order history at any time.
  • With an existing customer account you can order faster and easier.
  • You add an item to your shopping cart without obligation by clicking on .

  • You can also remove products or adjust the quantity in the shopping cart.

  • If you are not already logged in with a customer account, you can now create one (optional). You can also order as a guest without permanent registration.

  • In the checkout process you can then select the desired shipping and payment method. The shipping and billing address can also be adjusted here.

  • Before the purchase is finalized, you will receive an overview of the products and the data you have entered (addresses, shipping method, etc.). If you notice any errors, you can correct them here.

  • Here you can also view all legal information such as the terms and conditions, the privacy policy and the information on the right of withdrawal.

Payment

  • As payment providers we work with PayPal, Klarna and Amazon.
  • Of course you can also pay by bank transfer.
  • Thus, a variety of payment options are available to you:
    • PayPal: PayPal, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Amex)
    • Klarna: invoice, installment purchase, direct debit, instant bank transfer, credit cards (Mastercard, Visa), Maestro
    • Amazon Payments
    • Prepayment by bank transfer
    • Note: With the selection of PayPal or Klarna or Amazon you will be redirected to the website of the provider or a popup will appear.
  • Some providers require a general registration, or an existing customer account for the use of special payment methods. The use of the payment methods may require a positive credit check. This check is carried out by the respective payment provider and we have no influence on it.
  • After processing with the respective payment provider, you will be redirected back to our online store, where you must complete the ordering process by pressing the button "ORDER WITH AN OBLIGATION TO PAY".
  • We offer payment by installments via Klarna.
  • Payment by invoice is possible through Klarna.
  • Credit card payment is possible via PayPal or Klarna..

Shipping

I. Shipping within Germany:

The shipping costs within Germany are € 6.95.
Shipping within Germany is free of charge from a value of goods of € 59.-.

II.Shipping outside Germany

We deliver to the following countries:
Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (incl. Balearic Islands), Czech Republic, Hungary
The shipping costs to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany are for a parcel up to 5kg: 18.95 Euro (incl. 19% VAT, net 15.92 Euro), for a parcel up to 20kg: 22.95 Euro (incl. 19% VAT, net 19.29 Euro), per box, plus the respective VAT of the country. The delivery time for deliveries to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany is 3-5 working days in addition to the delivery times stated in the item. 

Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Cyprus, Norway, San Marino, Turkey, Vatican City, Cyprus
The shipping costs to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany are for a parcel up to 5kg: 20.95 Euro (incl. 19% VAT, net 17.61 Euro), for a parcel up to 20kg: 25.95 Euro (incl. 19% VAT, net 21.81 Euro), per box, plus the respective VAT of the country. The delivery time for deliveries to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany is 5-7 working days in addition to the delivery times stated in the item.

Great Britain, Switzerland, Liechtenstein
The shipping costs to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany are for a package up to 5kg: 31.95 Euro, for a package up to 20kg: 36.95 Euro per box. The delivery time for deliveries to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany is 3-5 working days in addition to the delivery times stated in the item. 

Canada, United States of America
The shipping costs to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany are for a package up to 5kg: 69.95 Euro, for a package up to 20kg: 99.95 Euro per box. The delivery time for deliveries to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany is 14-18 working days in addition to the delivery times stated in the item.

Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand
The shipping costs to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany are for a package up to 5kg: 87.95 Euro, for a package up to 20kg: 125.95 Euro per box. The delivery time for deliveries to the above-mentioned countries outside Germany is 20-25 working days in addition to the delivery times stated in the item.

If you want shipping to another country, then please write us an e-mail (team@dogsinthecity.de) before ordering and please tell us the article with the quantity and the delivery address with the country and the corresponding postal code. We will then inform you in the short term whether we can also ship to the desired country and - if delivery to the desired delivery address is possible - we will inform you of the shipping costs, as we must ask our shipping partner in advance about the shipping option and the costs.

In the case of deliveries to countries outside the European Union, further costs may be incurred in individual cases for which we are not responsible and which are to be borne by you. These include, for example, costs for the transfer of money by credit institutions (e.g. transfer fees, exchange rate fees) or import duties or taxes (e.g. customs duties).   • With DHL, daily (Mon-Fri).
  • With the shipment notification we send the tracking number for the packets. The status of the delivery can be tracked in the DHL portal.
  • Alternatively, it is also possible to pick up the products yourself by appointment from our warehouse in Neumann-Reichardt-Straße 27-33, Haus 16, 22041 Hamburg.
  • You have the right to cancel the purchase contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
  • The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has or has taken possession of the goods.

Colors
Please note that the use of different display technologies and your individual display settings can lead to color distortions. The colors shown on your display may therefore differ slightly from the actual color of the products shown in our product photos. In case of doubt, we recommend that you view the product photos on another display or contact us.

Sizes
Size Help All sizes are approximate. Deviations of a few centimeters may occur due to the material and production process. The dog breeds given as examples are only a guide, the actual size required depends on the individual size of your dog. To get an idea of the required width of the lying area, please measure from the tip of the nose to the end of the back/start of the tail and add approx. 15-20 cm. Sleeping areas for dogs are never too large, in most cases they tend to be too small.
 
  • Experts advise to wash the sleeping place about once a month. Here, a wash between 30°C to 40°C in the machine is quite sufficient. Close zippers for wahsing.
  • However, please avoid the use of fabric softeners or other fragrances. Dogs' noses are very sensitive and these smells are rather unpleasant for a dog.
  • A tumble dryer should not be used afterwards, because the flakes can melt due to the high heat. If this is not possible, in the dryer only on gentle cycle at low temperature.

Instructions for pulling off a box bed
1) Turn the outer frame 'inside out'.
2) After the frame is 'unfolded', the zippers are visible.
3) Open the zips.
4) Now you can remove the (5) individual inner cushions.

The Box Beds in the 'Exclusive Dog Beds' category have a loose lying cushion with a removable cover. This means that the cover and the cushion can be washed separately. The Box Beds of the category 'Dog Beds & Dog Baskets' have a firmly sewn lying cushion, which can be removed via an extra zip and washed separately.

Instructions for pulling off a box bed
1) Remove the loose lying cushion and take out the inner cushion via the zip.
2) Turn the outer frame 'inside out'.

4) Open the zipper, now the (4) individual inner cushions can be removed.
